The Wonder Woman 75th Anniversary Comic-Con panel

Wonder Woman turns 75 this year and for the first time, we will see it on the big screen. We had to attend a panel Wonder Woman 75th birthday at San Diego Comic-Con with artist Nicola Scott, artist Jim Lee, director Patty Jenkins Wonder Woman and women themselves, Gal Gadot.
Before the two out. Scott talked about what an honor it is to be able to draw Wonder Woman and be part of something that means so much to so many. He talks about the origin of her, just before the country entered World War II. He said that seeing a woman dressed in the American flag telling people, 'Let's go to war, "is a big moment in comics. He talked about what Wonder Woman is an important icon in the seventies and second-wave feminism, and how Gloria Steinem put him on the cover of Ms. Magazine says, "Wonder Woman for President." He said that, gliding through the third wave of feminism could be "quite decisive," but it's Wonder Woman is a "superhero inclusive," something the rest of the panel echoed. They all mentioned the importance that he has as a role model for young girls, but for men as well.
Lee talked about her history over this time and how he lost his powers for a time in the sixties and more of this type of Emma Peel, popular for "Avengers" TV show, and how the eighties, with the work of George Perez, has more than a game of Thrones felt before the last game of Thrones.
Jenkins talked about how Wonder Woman was a big influence on him and how to sit in the editing room late at night is not too bad because even after a long day, he said it was still called out, "I love Wonder Woman!" He and Gadot talk about feelings happen to be set. Gadot even said that, although he was not really a spiritual person, he really felt like the universe gave them signs that this will be good. Jenkins praised the Gadot's never complained and said that the cast and crew were blown away by his willingness to do anything, no matter how hard. Jenkins tells the story of how he was in a giant parka that people actually used to climb Mount Everest (which you can see in the image press) while Gadot is very little clothing. Gadot added, "In the cold, wearing not much, but it's okay. I love him. I wish I could take you all back in time to set up so you can experience what we have experienced. It is a unique experience special."
Jenkins talks about her feelings when 'TV series of the 70s, starring Lynda Carter and kids all "obsessed with the show and everyone on the playground say who they would be and said I wanted to be Wonder Woman ... he is everything . I did not become one of the boys. It was every fantasy come true. It was a memory I ... know you could be Wonder Woman. "
Gadot said he was very popular in which he grew up in Israel, and that he is a household name along with Batman and Superman. "I remember always knowing she was the most powerful female superhero," he said, calling it "Shero." She remembers getting a call about casting him while he was sitting on a plane on a runway at Los Angeles. He told his agent to make everyone in the office on the phone and said. She said she cried on the plane, but they later said that he could not tell anyone.
Gadot said that this is the story of a girl into a woman and Jenkins agreed said it was "a classic coming-of-age story arc, he wants to save the world." He said that Wonder Woman was God coming to man, and "see what humans are capable. you came to save the world and to be great, but how do you learn to become a hero who is loving and strong? "
Jenkins talked about wanting to do a female superhero movie for a long time, but the people are always afraid to take on, particularly Wonder Woman. He said that there was "apologist and that there are discussions about trying to make it hard and tough, because" universal version "of the superhero was a man." Why only white people can be universal? I feel like my job is the opposite of what people think. He's vulnerable. He fell in love, "he said, explaining that they did it to Superman, so why not Wonder Woman. She wanted to make it" movie of all people. "
